Katlas ice cave

In Vik I jumped into a super jeep that drove out on the Mýrdalsjökull glacier where the volcano Katla is located, which is one of Iceland’s most unpredictable volcano. It was a bumpy ride on the glacier, but fun. The cave was not huge and you could go through it. It was awesome to see the so-called dragon glass as the ice is called. The ice goes from white to blue tones mixed with black ash. The ice cave was discovered last year.
